Mr. Cole is a member of the HOSS Management Team and started at HOSS Pump Systems as Sales and Service Manager, earning a promotion to Vice President Sales and Service in early 2019. He utilizes experience, subject matter expertise and insights gained over 15 years in the oil and gas industry to help customers solve their production challenges. Mr. Cole also knows that understanding the business and technical issues that drive customers, ensures the effective delivery of technically accurate information and develops relationships built on the trust, reliability and integrity of HOSS people, products and services. It’s that ‘top-level’ service delivery that attracted him to the HOSS culture of Reliability, Technology and Responsiveness.
Taking direction from his father and the way he operated Cole’s Service Station, watching him demonstrate service and create exceptional customer experience taught Mr. Cole what it meant to provide ‘top-level’ customer service, build long-term relationships and earn the loyalty of customers for years. He remains dedicated to that practice today. Of all the HOSS success metrics Mr. Cole analyzes, customer experience satisfaction ratings are key performance indicators of how well HOSS is serving customers. He takes a personal consultant and partner approach in the customer’s ongoing production success and delivers personalized customer service. Mr. Cole is known for taking calls from customers on issues unrelated to HOSS Pumps, because they have confidence in his technical troubleshooting expertise and because he stays with them until they get the issue(s) resolved.
Prior to joining HOSS, Mr. Cole was the horizontal pump systems (HPS) sales and service manager for Halliburton (Summit HPS), responsible for matching the technical, commercial and operational capabilities to the customer needs to provide proper sizing design, cost analysis and project management for all upstream, midstream and downstream surface pump equipment. Before Summit, he spent 12 years with Global Production Solutions as Manager for Automated Pump Systems Division where he managed all aspects of the surface pumping division including scheduling, as well as the management and assessment of field maintenance programs. He was also heavily involved in design, fabrication and testing of automated pumping systems.
Mr. Cole owned and operated a construction company for 12 years before going into the oil and gas industry. As owner and CEO, he was directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of his company and the management of employees, contractors and all construction projects from estimating and bidding to completion.
